Friction where everyone talks at once; competition that doesn't wound but wears you down.
Five of Wands upright
Friction where everyone talks at once; competition that doesn't wound but wears you down. Wands belong to fire: drive, ambition and inspiration. A Wands card is about where your energy goes.
Five of Wands reversed
Tension easing; the fight gets resolved, or goes quiet and turns inward.
A reversed card is not automatically bad news. It can mean the upright meaning is weaker, turned inward, or flipped; the cards around it tell you which.
In love and relationships
Constant bickering; a squabble where nobody gets hurt but nobody gets heard either.
Work and money
Competition and crowding; a draining environment where everyone talks at once.
Advice
The conflict looks big, but there's no real enemy here. Put your energy into the work, not the rivalry. Once you figure out who's actually against you, the noise dies down.
Is Five of Wands yes or no?
No. This card leans toward no, or not like this: what you are asking about runs into the obstacle the card describes.
Astrological correspondence
In the Golden Dawn system, which the Rider-Waite-Smith deck was drawn within, Five of Wands corresponds to Saturn in Leo, 1st decan.
