The wish card: the personal satisfaction of getting what you wanted.
Nine of Cups upright
The wish card: the personal satisfaction of getting what you wanted. Cups belong to water: feelings, relationships and intuition. A Cups card asks what you feel, not what you think.
Nine of Cups reversed
Satisfaction that stays on the surface; getting what you wanted and finding it doesn't taste the way you expected.
A reversed card is not automatically bad news. It can mean the upright meaning is weaker, turned inward, or flipped; the cards around it tell you which.
In love and relationships
The wish card: the closeness you wanted comes true, and it leaves you deeply satisfied.
Work and money
Your effort pays off: a gain that brings relief, or the approval you were waiting for.
Advice
You got what you wished for; now the real question is whether you truly wanted it. The emptiness that sometimes follows doesn't mean you made a mistake. It points to your next question.
Is Nine of Cups yes or no?
Yes. This card leans toward yes: the conditions it describes support what you are asking about.
Astrological correspondence
