Everything you need is already in your hands. Turn your intention into action.
The Magician upright
Everything you need is already in your hands. Turn your intention into action. The 22 Major Arcana cards describe thresholds rather than everyday choices. When one turns up, the question usually belongs to a bigger cycle in your life.
The Magician reversed
Scattered energy, manipulation, or talent left unused.
A reversed card is not automatically bad news. It can mean the upright meaning is weaker, turned inward, or flipped; the cards around it tell you which.
In love and relationships
A period when communication decides everything. What goes unsaid is the biggest obstacle here.
Work and money
The tools you have are enough. What's missing isn't resources but the decision to use them.
Advice
Name what you want. The Magician's power isn't magic; it's a clear intention.
Is The Magician yes or no?
Yes. The answer is positive but conditional: the tools are already in your hands and you're expected to use them. In other words, "yes, if you do it." If you're waiting for the result to come from outside, the card doesn't back that.
Astrological correspondence
In the Golden Dawn system, which the Rider-Waite-Smith deck was drawn within, The Magician corresponds to Mercury.
